Set in the beautiful landscape of the Val d'Orcia, declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO, is the BIO Farm, Restaurant and Inn, LO SPICCHIO.
It 'an old Farm completely renovated, situated on a gentle hill, which allows to dominate the splendid hills of the Val d'Orcia at Siena in Tuscany, and the view is lost throughout the green expanses, alternating with almost lunar landscape, typical of these places. The Locanda LO SPICCHIO is a place of good Being and Good Living, which suggests the orwellian's bucolic scenarios of his most famous novel. The property is in an area of 60 hectares, of which 40 in the woods, lined by a torrent, which also operates the Farm LO SPICCHIO, which cultivates with BIO methods and the famous rears pigs of valuable race Cinta senese, always with natural methods and leaving them free to scratching and rooting, in large space.
The products of the earth and of the herds, are the basis of everything that is served to customers gourmets and gourmands at the Restaurant LO SPICCHIO, both in rich breakfast famous for the quality and variety: bread and cakes, jams and our production jelly and cheese, strictly organic, which in the restaurant for lunch de LO SPICCHIO for about 50 table with dishes prepared by chef Monica, in a mix of traditional and inventive cuisine.

The inn has 4 double rooms with bath, two with shower whirlpool, with the possibility of adding a bed.
The rooms are spacious and bright, with independent adjustment of heating, television and Internet connection. In addition to the beauty of the place and its environs with the possibility of hiking, visit the company, encounters with wild animals, cycling made available by us, the strength of the Inn is a sense of hospitality. Upon request, guests will also be served a typical Tuscan dinner with the products' company.

The Locanda de LO SPICCHIO is about 4 km from Cassia Road and 30 km from the exits of Highway A1 "Chiusi - Chianciano Terme" coming from the south, and "Bettolle-Val di Chiana" coming from the north. The Locanda de LO SPICCHIO is well placed to achieve a number of places of great honour landscape, historical and cultural. It is a few kilometres from the Thermal Baths San Filippo, the Thermal Baths Vignone, Pienza, Montalcino, the skiing facilities of Monte Amiata, and just 50 miles from Siena.

Monica, is the chef of Restaurant LO SPICCHIO (click icon above to enlarge), has managed to unite in harmony and refined tasty, the tradition of flavours and ingredients, typical of the place, to a kitchen innovative but who for raw materials, what at LO SPICCHIO is produced, in accordance with the methods BIO and true Tuscan tradition. All presented with an aesthetic taste, which also seduces the eye.
We offer some of those that are the Mouth-watering offer, yet refined works of haute cuisine Monica. We can not delight you with flavors and fragrances, but just to see remain trapped.
